They Live, We SleepDo we know what is really going on?
Do we seriously believe everything we see?
We don’t know what we have until it’s gone,
The day you die is the day you are free.
Don’t let these people get away with it,
They’ll just tell you it’s all for fortune and fame,
The world will change once they achieve their goal,
If you take the deal, expect your life to never be the same.
Resist the temptation;
it takes a nation
to break the formation.
They will have world domination,
If we don't seek education.
This isn't a fantasy,
It’s a reality.
The clock is ticking,
The end is coming.
Praying For Better DaysPeople can't even show
any respect these days,
Hurting each other
in so many ways;
taking many things
Never sparing a thought
for those who have nothing.
Acting like they're the only people
whose lives are a misery;
what about those
suffering from poverty?
They can't even get a proper education,
but everyone deserves to
have a dream,
To one day succeed.
Some people only
care about themselves,
Not feeling any remorse
for those that are dying;
Not caring about the circumstances
in which they are living;
I guess they've never
heard of the term,
"It's better to
give than receive."
How can someone
be so mean?
Why can't they just
help those children in need?
Make a difference
in their life,
so they no longer
have to bleed,
It wouldn't hurt to
do one good deed.
Make the world
a better place;
Stop judging one another
on religion and race,
Do something simple,
Like putting a smile
on someone's face.
You Are My LifeYou mean the world to me,
Youre the only one I see in my dreams,
Me and you are meant to be,
Whenever I see you, all I can do is scream,
I cant stop thinking about you,
I admire everything you do.
I want to see you night and day,
Me and you understand each other,
You are the one, thats all I can say,
One day after another,
Youre always on my mind,
Your voice is so soft, gentle and kind.
I WonderI wonder what happens after death,
Do you finally stop breathing and just simply lay and rest?
Or does your body become possessed?
Or maybe you become a spirit
so you no longer feel depressed.
I wonder what happens after death,
Are you given a chance to return back to Earth?
Or can you go back to the people whom you shared many happy memories?
Or do you have to fix your mistakes and makes amends with your enemies?
So they can become your homies.
I wonder what happens after death,
Are you given the honour of meeting the divine Being?
Or are you given some sort of sign to continue seeking?
Or do you have to do one good deed?
So the One above doesn't think you're infected with the disease of lust, gluttony and greed.
I wonder what happens after death,
Are you questioned by the Almighty One?
Or do you have to face the consequences of a severe punishment?
Or does God welcome you into his home?
So you can rejoin those who left too soon
and never again be alone.
I wonder what happens after de
We feel as though we've known you for a thousand years,
We have let out so many tears,
There are not enough words to explain how we feel,
But we are speechless,
For you, we are lost for words,
We don't know what to say.
Your music is magical,
It is tragical that you have gone too soon,
Your light shines down on us just like the moon,
We have to smile, even though our hearts are aching.
Whatever happens, we will always be there,
The world is dangerous and we have to find the lost children,
Because we are the world,
You gave us hope, when all hope was lost,
You opened our eyes, when we couldn't see,
Now we are always here waiting for you.
You gave us strength, when we weren't strong,
You are our friend, hero and king,
We will never let you part,
For you are always in our hearts,
Michael, you are with God now and you will always be an inspiration to our lives,
We will never say goodbye.
Am IAm I invisible?
Because you ignore me,
Am I that shadow on the ground?
Because you're walking over me.
Am I camouflaged?
Because you deliberately turn your back on me,
Am I alive?
Because you act as though I don't exist.
Am I dead?
Because you look at me as though I'm a spirit,
Am I just a colour?
Because you judge me as though I am.
Am I unwanted?
Because you make me feel that way.
Am I just a fish in the sea?
Because you caught me, but then you let go.
The colour of my skin doesn't defy the person inside,
Whether I'm Brown, Black, Yellow or White;
The words you use to hurt me,
Cannot take away my pride.
Life Goes OnThere comes a time
In everyone's life
When we have to
Forgive and forget;
But never forget.
We make decisions,
That someday we will
We all disagree;
We assert things
That we don't really
At some point
We have to concede.
We go back
To our normal routine;
The atmosphere becomes
AloneAlone, in a darkened room
Trying to figure out why nobody listens,
Hearing voices in the distance,
Everyone is acknowledged,
I enter a room, but I always wonder
Is my presence sensed?
Do they know I exist?
Why am I treated like an outcast?
Alone, in a darkened room,
Wondering why my opinion never matters,
Every time I speak,
Everyone else goes deaf;
The world just passes me by,
I go unnoticed.
Alone, in a darkened room
With no one else to talk to,
What a helpless feeling.
I look up and stare at the ceiling,
Does life consisting of loneliness have any meaning?
The True Meaning of Life
The true meaning of life is what you make it out to be;
It may be cherished with childhood memories,
Or simply divine because of breathtaking experiences.
The true meaning of life exists in your mind;
It may be a game in which you seek and find,
Or simply a test to see how long you can survive.
The true meaning of life is your personal impression;
It may be a place to make a confession,
Or simply to act with discretion.
The true meaning of life is what you make it out to be;
It may be a gift that we take for granted selfishly,
Or simply a chance to leave behind a legacy.
Death of the PoetDear poetry,
This is your challenge,
my eternal chore,
to restate the truth
like never before-
but I’m imperfect
at my very core
is what I abhor
so you may expect
my work to be poor
enough for me to
be crushed into gore
with failed attempts
to take wing and soar
when all I wanted
was something much more
than emptiness and
and pointless details
of imagined lore
which most of us tend
to simply ignore
at the piercing sound
of a lion’s roar
or the convenience
of a nearby store…
what am I truly
writing these words for?
Let’s merely pretend
that this isn’t me
but the voice of God
or L. Ron Hubbard
or whoever you
wish for it to be
since facts remain facts
no matter the source,
no matter the cause,
since the trustworthy
are also humans
prone to failure;
so prone to a fault
that we hold dearly-
the sum of our faith
measured in dollars-
rewarded by credit
and paper money…
for some odd reason
I find this funny!
So I conclude
You are loved.In my opinion, suicide is a very, very selfish thing.
There are few instances where I would find it appropriate.
You leave so many of the people who love you.
Wondering if it was their fault.
If it was something they had said.
If they could have done something to help.
So many questions.
Questions that can only be answered by one person.
And that one person is dead.
All because you thought there was no other way out.
That your life wasn't worth living.
That no one would care, anyway.
When really it's the exact opposite.
There's always at least one person that cares.
So much heartbreak.
Let me just say, that you are worth it.
You are beautiful.
You are loved.
Us and ThemI wish I could draw them--
How they talk:
Tongue and ears of flint
To spark a flame,
Ignite the fire that burns down cities
In a combustion of torment.
They fooled us into thinking that oil is water
So that we hurt ourselves.
Why do they talk?
Why are they so insistent
On destroying God's creation
From the inside out?
Who gives them the right
To say who we are?
We cry ourselves to sleep at night
Because we don't know
What else to do.
And though we try our hardest to get it right,
We get it wrong
And over again.
And we forget sometimes where's up.
We try to fly
But we keep diving into the ground
Like a flock of confused birds.
We try to separate.
"Avoid the cliff our friends jump off of--"
Yet everything inside us screams
Go with them!
Who says it's easy to be different?
And they tear down the castles
We worked on for so long.
All we can do is start over
And try to find up again.
ConstructDelving into the origins
Of what makes an individual
Who are you? Who am I?
There’s a lack of understanding,
Yet we jump to judge
And claim to know
That which we could never understand
Attempts are seldom made
To investigate the unknown
To strive to discover
Those we claim to know
From the inside out
Extract the innermost thoughts
In place there is an idealist mirage
To which our beliefs shall cling to
In desperation, or disbelief
It’s the construct of our mindset
That leads us all astray
Human Nature.Human Nature.
And the ambitious achievers.
Need the realists to stop them from flying too close to the sun.
The logical idealists
And the informed defeatists.
Need the dreamers to show them how some struggles can be won.
You see I am beginning to get the gist,
Of how we all unwittingly coexist.
Neither one can ever be dismissed,
As long as the reign of mankind persists.
As one tries, the other watches.
When one flies, the other dislodges
Stories aimed to defame, name, claim and shame.
Assuring and securing that the harsh reality still remains.
StoryI know you have a story hidden
In your chest but you’re
Afraid to wear it on your sleeves
For everyone to see. No need
To worry – I’ve seen scarred arms,
I’ve known people who let their
Demons take over their hearts.
Your story is just as valid as
Mine; even if it’s just a fairytale.
Never Sort a Friend Rose and Scorpius part 2Rose gave a nervous smile to Scorpius as he sat on the small stool and the old pointed hat was placed on his head. She bit her lower lip, waiting for the booming decision to ring out across the great hall, declaring which house he would be in. "Slytherin!" the hat called, the Hogwarts students clapped, Slytherin the loudest.
Scorpius looked at Rose and Albus as he walked to the table covered in green. He looked sad, seeming to be able to predict the future. Rose continued to watch Scorpius until Albus was called. "Albus Potter." Her gaze went to her cousin, as did the rest of the school. All the houses wanted to see if they would receive one of Harry Potter's children.
She gave his hand a light squeeze before he walked up to the stool. The whole school held their breath waiting; Rose started to bite her lip. Albus looked nervous. He was muttering under her breath, but she could not tell what. 'Please let him end up where he wants,' she begged silently to the Sorting Hat.

Can I make love to your voice? <3
He couldn’t take any more of this.
Ryan shut down his computer, sitting and staring at the blank screen long after the desktop had said its programmed goodbyes. There was an eerie silence about the house as he tried to collect his thoughts.
He didn’t even know who he was anymore.
It had gotten so bad that he had stopped reacting to the sound of his real name. His sister had called him multiple times the other day before he even registered that he was talking to her. Finally, after he had answered, she giggled and said, “Sorry, Cry…guess I should call you what your fans call you.”
His web life had a life of its own.
Sighing and standing from his computer desk, Ryan moved slowly through the near-empty house, his sister and her lover gone for the evening.
SisterA sister is like a soul mate;
Someone who is always there
to guide me through fate.
A sister is,
a part of childhood that I cannot erase;
A sister like you,
is one that I would never replace
because you always know how to
put a smile on my face.
I know I can depend on you
to always be there for me;
This is one hundred percent guaranteed!
I've had great memories with you
in the past;
and I hope there are many more
in the future.
Parenting for Sex AddictsThe half-day.
We are not those folks that need an occasion to try. And that’s what they call it, too. Trying. As if the very idea of it is taxing. It’s not taxing and we are not those people.
No. We do not go by some magical calendar. Schedules aren’t really our thing in general. That’d be too organized. Too stuffy. Too… I don’t know… too planned. And we’re not the type of people whom plan.
If we could—plan—our lives would be much different. I think. It’s hard to say because this is how we’ve always been.
Our very togetherness is a result of impulse. I’m almost certain that the amount of time it took us to decide to move in together was significantly shorter than the amount of time it took us to remember each other’s names. We might have had our first conversation moments after that first… what I mean to say is we didn’t plan. Because planning would have been much t
